Cause For Concern?

Headline from TurkishPress.com: "Al-Qaeda number two warns West it faces thousands of dead, economic collapse"... keeping with the Osama bin Laden tradition of issuing timely tapes, AQ's number 2 man Ayman al-Zawahiri is back on the tube, re-broadcasting a message that has been heard several times before... Note that this is his second tape release in 10 days. He threatens "tens of thousands of deaths" and aims to severely damage the US economy.


Up to now I thought any future AQ attack might involve a nuclear power plant or maybe a large dam. But to kill these two particular birds with one stone is no small feat, if indeed it can be done at all. It may have been at least two years ago I saw a "terror-watch" on a website that cited these same goals. Whatever the plan is, it must have stalled somewhere along the line. Could AQ now be "ready" to stage whatever it is? One analyst points to some new things in the latest video that may perhaps signal the start of "something."


US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld very recently stated that new intelligence suggests Al-Qaeda is planning to strike very soon...it's only a matter of time... and he mentions those dreaded WMD's (Weapons of Mass Destruction.)
So, according to al-Zawahiri & Rumsfeld, we better watch out.... (Be extra alert if you live in New York City or Chicago). Or maybe Os and Ay will use our COMPUTERS against us...
