UPDATED March 31 - Terri Schiavo has passed away. Looks like the Bible Code folks missed the mark... still, their "Prophecy calendar for 2005 and beyond" is an intriguing site. There WAS a time when some suggested the COMPUTER was 666-The Beast. And, as Michelle Malkin points out HERE, perhaps it is.

UPDATE 10:33pm 3/29/05 30 YEARS ON A FEEDING TUBE!

From the Albany Times-Union newspaper: there is a picture and a few words (none of it in the on-line edition, nor on any local TV station's website) about 65-year old DON YOUNG of Porters Corners, who has just celebrated 30 years of surviving on liquid nutritional therapy. 30 YEARS ON A FEEDING TUBE! He marked the occasion at Albany Medical Center...Young suffers from Crohn’s disease, an inflammatory disease of his gastrointestional system. Since 1975, he has received his nutrition from hundreds of thousands of infusions of parenteral nutrition. Parenteral nutrition is a liquid containing nutrients which is infused directly into a patient’s bloodstream where it is absorbed by the body.
