PC Pledge

Political Correctness reached new heights when a school employee leading the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE over the intercom made a few "adjustments"... school officials in Colorado say the woman had been spurred by the date, April 20, the sixth anniversary of the Columbine High School slayings.

"The day was the sixth anniversary of Columbine, and she felt she should be all-inclusive, so she replaced the word 'God.'"

Colorado law requires schools to offer the opportunity to recite the pledge, but participation is optional. Michelle Malkin gives the news account by The Washington Times' Valerie Richardson her "p.c.- hell-in-a-handbasket" award. Joe Gandelman takes things a little bit farther...
April 20 is many things to many people: Colorodoans take note, it was April 20, 1914 when twenty men, women, and children died in the Ludlow Massacre during a bitter Colorado coal-miner's strike.
in Canada, it is International Smoke Weed Day (or 420). 420 is also Adolph Hitler's BIRTHDAY!
