The London 7/7 Attacks

"The explosion ripped the roof from a London double-decker, killing many and hurling others, injured and dying, into the road. Many of those on the bus had been turned back from Tube trains after earlier blasts..."

The extra security precautions mounted in New York City and Washington DC in the wake of the London bombings are nothing more than band-aids for the weary public's morale. Think we're "protected"? Think Again! A similar attack could easily be carried out in any other city.

I don't take the subway at all when I'm in New York. Never-Never-Never! And rarely when I'm in DC. These Al-Qaeda "attack-events" are usually spectacular in nature.

Among the favors one can do for oneself: read the AL-QAEDA TRAINING MANUAL. Get to know your enemy by getting to know the techniques he or she may use against you or your loved ones. I've adapted material from the manual and used it in my own daily activities: a few months ago I noticed a man who seemed to be following, surveilling or otherwise stalking a child. No police in sight. As I walked down a busy street in the same direction as the man and child, I kept an eye on both by watching their reflections in store windows, a tactic discussed in the Al-Q manual. Much to my relief, the child met up with what appeared to be an older sibling. The man suddenly turned a corner, and the threat (if there was one) was gone.

A massive intelligence investigation is under way to find those responsible for the bomb attacks in London which killed at least 37 and left 700 injured. (More from BBC)

Some think the solution is to sue for peace, to negotiate with terrorists so that they might go and kill elsewhere. But that way is unacceptable." (More...)
