Here is where you'll find all of my blog entries written prior to late Summer 2006. It's also a good site to test the strength of your pop-up blockers!

Google, Yahoo, Technorati

9/29/2005 UPDATE - I've found I'm not alone in having issues with Technorati. So, I'm putting this issue on the "back burner," knowing the Technorati folks WILL eventually get the whole thing sorted out. The burning question is: IS THERE ANY SEARCH ENGINE OR TOOL OUT THERE THAT CAN DELIVER REAL-TIME RESULTS VIA SEARCH? The answer is NO. Well, Technorati HAS in the past, but for whatever reason, it's not doing it right now. I'll post more on this as I continue my investigation. There are a few tweaks that can be made to the HTML code of blogs and webpages to make it easiere for search engine spiders to "find" material on any given site. I'll delve into that more deeply on the weekend if I have the time!

(Original Post) Well, y'all know from my rants that Technorati doesn't seem to work well with this blog. I'm still seeing a HUGE lag between the time I post and the time my post shows up on Technorati. Shoot, even when I CREATE a tag, like "dog flu," my post is one-upped by somebody else who blogged days after I did! WTF? I'm seeing "posted 1 minute ago" in Technorati, yet a post I wote 4 days ago still hasn't registered! Anybody else having this problem? Why do I care? Because some have been stealing my posts and claiming them as their own! No one likes to have their stuff stolen!

I found an interesting site by way of Kevin Burton's blog. It's called GahooYoogle, and you may want to head over to Kevin's to check it out! (HERE)

Although Google has added a blogsearch to its product line, I see very few visitors to this blog via that service. Maybe it'll pick up now that school is back in session!
