My Music

Music is part of the fabric that helps hold the tapestries of our lives together. People often ask me what music I listen to. Here are the songs currently residing on a cassette that I listen to in the car: (CLICK on the links if you want to listen to and/or download them for yourself!)

HotMix of Kelly Clarkson's "Behind These Hazel Eyes"

HotMix of Hilary Duff's "Wake Up"

4 cuts from The Rolling Stones "A BIGGER BANG" including "Streets Of Love."

Madonna's "HUNG UP" from the new LP - Madonna is set to give ABBA what is likely to be the biggest-selling record of their career. "Hung Up" heavily samples Abba's 1979 hit "Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie. " Click on the words HuNg Up here or above to locate various mp3 avails of the recording. All links may not be operating at all times, so be patient!

Madonna has seen the ABBA-musical Mamma Mia eight times. Her friends told British papers that the Queen of Pop had become obsessed with Sweden's largest music export.

Songwriters Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus only gave permission for their material to be used because they are both avid Madonna fans. The pair agreed to let Madonna use their most famous disco hit after striking a lucrative copyright agreement that observers say will give them a significant share of royalties from airplay.

Matisyahu "King Without A Crown" ... Matisyahu comes legit with lyrics often steeped in religious imagery which, like Bob Marley’s Rastafarianism or even Bono’s Catholicism, never cross over into dogma. What would happen if Matisyahu teamed up with Yusuf Islam on a musical concert quest for world peace? Am I foolish for such a hope?

Next to last tune on my tape, "Friday I'm In Love" by The Cure, and last but not least, a dub off an old 45 "Where Have All The Good Times Gone?" by The Kinks.
