Our Troubled Schools

Parents of kids attending UAlbany should be concerned, after an incident involving one of the criminal wanna-be students banished from Albany High to the "special classes" on the SUNY campus. The young buck had to be stunned with a taser after threatening an instructor. Suppose that kid threatened (and possibly harmed) a college student? The following are excerpts from the Albany Times Union:

"...The teacher called for assistance from a university police officer, who unsuccessfully attempted to escort the student from the gym, according to the university statement. The officer called for police support, and after several more attempts by the officers to escort the student from the gym the student became physically violent..."

"In a statement, Superintendent Eva Joseph said, "The program at University of Albany has been successful." Really? It hasn't been in place very long, and I think the above incident sums up how well it's doing.

As we know from the Beth Geisel case, some teachers can be as much as or more threatening than some students! Michelle Malkin has an update on strange schoolteacher Steve White.
