Star Jones. Hmmmmmm... Eventually, one who rides on a high horse either falls off or is yanked off. I can only chuckle when someone, who has irritated the public for so long that we are just wishing and hoping they'd choke... finally bites it! Star Jones' departure from The View seems to be surrounded by drama, resentment and cat-fighting. All of a sudden, The View doesn’t look so good. Not that it really matters, but Star got her comeuppance, and we'll all move on, get over it, and she'll annoy us from a perch someplace else.

Beyond The Punchline: Star Jones fell victim to the exact same thing that happened to Kathie Lee Gifford before she left "Regis and Kathie Lee"; she was a co-host who began to believe that she was a bigger "star" (insert "fat" joke here) than the guests on her show.

Although I do not watch the show, I am so glad Star Jones (Reynolds) is gone from the view. She was just too hard to look at after she lost 100 pounds in, like, 4 months or something.
