Battle Stations

Could the big Terror Threat be a diversion, designed to attract attention away from something else? Now would be a good time for existing sleeper cells and domestic terrorists to awaken. Be careful and be vigilant wherever you are and whatever you're doing. I'm no Chicken Little, but I do know when things aren't right. Municipal officials should keep a watchful eye on public water supplies. Citizens should be observant in shopping malls and stadiums. It takes one person noticing something to avert disaster. There are too many unexplained events in the headlines right now!

Michelle Malkin has the names of some of the "British-born Asian" terror suspects.

Closer to home, the Christopher Porco trial is over. This morning WRGB-TV interviewed the two widows of the Delmar detectives who initially investigated the case. They said the Porco defense team went off the map in trying to discredit and disgrace their husbands. Cery touching that TV6 showed photos of the men together with their kids. these were good friends, family men who just died too young. THAT is a tragedy. Christopher Porco is NOT a tragedy. Joan Porco IS a tragedy: the typical mother who wants to shield her young. Can you really fault her for that? Holding her son's hand in forgiveness, despite his despicable crime?

Here's something freaky: (via The Albany Eye):
Thanks to Time Warner's Capital Region On Demand channel 1009, you can still see the closing arguments from the Porco murder trial. No local broadcast station was able to run the summations in their entirety, and Judge Jeffrey Berry forbid the pool tape from being streamed on the internet, but you can watch the whole thing, unedited if you have digital cable...

Moving Day is just around the corner for me! I'm setting up a brand-new blog! I'll have a special URL for those countries that ban blogger or blog*spot blogs! Don't worry, details and re-directs will be posted early next week!
